Welcome to Great Beginnings East Wanneroo.
Our centre is small, cosy, homely and very welcoming. The children here have access to indoor/outdoor play all day (weather permitting for outdoor play).
We offer a variety of incursions from Happy Feet, Pyjama Drama and Yoga Lisa. Occasionally we will have incursions from other business where the children will learn about reptiles and Australian animals. We regularly do excursions around the community including visits to local library.
Our relationships with our families is extremely important and we offer an open door service. Communication between Centre Managers, Educators and family are also really important.
All the educators who work here are qualified and regularly attend training to keep our standards high. They are all very friendly, caring, ambitious and motivated people. They love working with children and this is evident through all interactions.
Our on-site cook is a qualified chef. She prepares daily each nutritious, well balanced healthy meal for all of the children catering for all dietary requirements.
We open our doors at 6.30am and close at 6pm.

What is your philosophy about educating children?
The emotional, social and physical development of young children has a direct effect on their overall development and on the adult they will become. Therefore, it is crucial to create caring and supportive environments that promote optimal early childhood development, in turn, promotes children’s chances of achieving the best learning outcomes.
Inspired by Reggio Emilia and Natural and Place Based approaches, I believe that, every behaviour is an attempt to communicate a need and we strive to meet that need to support children’s journeys.

Our team of educators are very passionate and enthusiastic about their profession and each child in their care. They are keen and do their best to build positive and nurturing relationships with children.

Reviews and Testimonials
“The staff at GB East Wanneroo are all lovely. My girls have attended the centre for a few years now and progressed form the babies room through to toddler & now Kindy room. The staff have been there from the start, they are great with my girls, even my special needs son – when he comes in with me to collect them, they are fun, friendly and caring towards not only my kids but to my families needs in general, I’m so glad I chose GB to care for my kids.”
“I feel completely comfortable leaving my nearly 2 year old with the girls. They are fantastic. Keep up the good job.”
